The Governorship and House of Assembly Election which was conducted on the 18th of March, 2023 was very peaceful from the beginning all through the voting process but ended up roughly during the period of sorting of votes as the unit was invaded by election thugs who short sporadically into the unit and made away with election materials including the team members belongings (bags, phones, money etc). While trying to escape the scene, the Assistant Presiding Officer of the polling unit was hurt by some bullets and we only managed to escape with only the BVAS Machine. The Unit has eight hundred and thirty (830) voters and two hundred and sixty six voters were accredited for the elections but we could not record the final result since the entire process was high-jacked by the thugs. We are appealing for the Commission to help our injured team Member and also do something about our payment. All though we've lost some of our belongings but we are grateful our lives were saved.
