The election started at exactly 8:30am and ended at 2:30pm, but there was a disruption by some thugs at the about 2:30pm at the point of sorting and counting of the election ballot papers. The election materials used for the election was hijacked, both sensitive and non-sensitive materials such as the BVAS, the INEC bag which contains the form EC8A (result sheet), poll booklet, PO stamp and other non sensitive materials. The PO and the APO S fled for their lives when the thugs attacked and were unable to complete sorting and counting process. Through at the time of writing this report, some INEC officials with the help of some security agencies went to the scene and discovered some of the materials like BVAS and the INEC bags with its content as stipulated above. Likewise the ballot papers was discovered on the ground of the scene and was retrieved too.
