Sir, I write to report the incident that led to the cancellation of election in our assigned area of assignment. On our arrival, some community boys came intercepting us that we would not conduct election in the absence of any financial settlement. However, the unit head addressed them. Getting to the PU, they also came with bottles, smashing them on the wall and threatening that we shall not go back with any material if they were not settled. All the party agents tried as they could to calm them down, but to no avail. On their third coming, they bully us and with knives, they went with almost all our items; especially the sensitive items. The items taken from us are as follows: 1. INEC bag containing: (i) Register of Voters (ii) Result booklets and Report booklets (iii) Stamp and ink (iv) one live jacket (v) All other stationaries 2. BVAS machine. We were left with the following: 1. All ballot papers (735) 2. Ballot boxes (2) 3. Live jacket (3) 4. Cubicle (1) 5. Appron (2). Our names are: 1. Nelson Nelson Zacchaeus (PO) 2.
